Leaf Availability

SKVNC Temple is requesting our devotees to donate plantain leaves for the lunch prasada served during the Rayara Aradhana Mahotsava on August 9th. We appreciate any number of leaves you can donate. Many of our devotees have banana plants in their yards, and we would be grateful for your contributions.

To help us estimate availability, please let us know how many leaves you can donate. If you are coming from out of town (such as Charlotte or Greensboro), you may bring the leaves, cut to size (approximately 18” in length and 10” in width and cleaned, ready to serve), to the HSNC hall on August 9th before 11:00 AM.

**Drop-off by Thursday, August 7th:**

You can drop off whole leaves at the residence of Vadi Botney, located at 416 Henmore Brook Drive, Cary, NC 27519. He is coordinating the cleaning and preparation of the leaves for lunch service.

Please estimate the number based on the number of people it can serve. We understand that the size of whole leaves can vary, so try to estimate how many pieces of approximately 18” x 10” can be made from them. Thank you for your support!

Please estimate the number of leaves based on number of people we can serve. (i.e. approx 18" x 10" size leaves per person)
