As the joyous Diwali festivities approach, along with the vibrant holiday season ahead, numerous organizations from the Research Triangle Park (RTP) area are coming together to launch the SewaDiwali 2025 initiative. This dedicated food donation drive will run until November 10, 2025, and aims to support local food banks in the community. Participating organizations represent a diverse range of religious and linguistic groups, underscoring the inclusive spirit of this event.

Rooted in the philosophy of Sewa Dharma—”Service to Humanity is Service to Divinity”—SewaDiwali emphasizes the importance of “Daana,” the act of giving back to those in need. This initiative invites individuals and families to contribute non-perishable food items, helping to ensure that those facing food insecurity can enjoy the blessings of the festival of lights.
